The pinwheel is an uplifting reminder of childhood and the bright futures all children deserve.
The month of April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Child Advocacy Network (CAN) of Monroe County sponsors Pinwheel for Prevention "Garden” planting events across the county. These gardens are planted to highlight and support prevention and awareness of child abuse and neglect. At the right are a few gardens from over the years.
